Although some time away until the wedding, an unusually dry spell presented us with an ideal opportuntiy to met up with Michelle & Simon at the elegant St Michael’s Manor hotel in St Albans. Both Michelle and Simon are local to the area and are getting married at the stunning Fanham’s Hall next Easter.
After shooting a few frames in the gardens of St Michael’s we took a walk round the City’s historical area including the mighty St Albans Cathedral. Somehow we attracted a local historian who gave us a short, but very detailed, lecture on the history of the area. Apparently the bridge that Michelle & Simon were sitting on is actually the oldest bridge in Hertfordshire. We just thought it looked nice!
