Lucy and Chas’s wedding was always going to be a dream to shoot. Stunning location, glorious sunshine and a directive by a cool couple to do ‘our thing’.
Having two of us means we can capture both the bride’s and groom’s preparations in full. Lucy got ready at her family home whilst Chas and the boys got ready at St Michael’s Manor. Both camps were relaxed which set the tone for the whole day. Calmness prevailed even into the groom’s speech when the microphone was hit by a power cut!
All in all there was a lovely vibe to the day; steel drums, guests drinking and kids running around the extensive lawns.
Lucy and Chas’s friends and family made us feel part of the party and the banter flowed well into the evening. It was a pleasure to be there and as it was the last day of the Olympics there were even a couple of Usain and Mo tributes….
