Michelle & Simon’s wedding was literally non-stop from when we arrived at the Fanhams Hall Hotel at 9am, where the bubbly was already flowing, all the way through to the 200-strong party after the first dance.
Fanhams Hall Hotel is a Jacobean Manor House in Ware and was the perfect setting for a wedding that had a lovely blend of everything. Michelle & Simon had a beautiful ceremony. They had spent the previous week apart and you could feel the excitement of them seeing each other when Michelle walked down the isle. A string quartet, three heart-felt speeches and a performance by Simon’s sister and brother-in-law that was written especially for the occasion, made it very difficult for us to not put our cameras down and just watch.
The wedding breakfast speeches were superb; again we had to remember we were there to work and not to be entertained. Particularly hard when the Father-of-the-bride broke into song during his speech!
The Great Hall leant itself well to the rocking party in the evening and despite it being cold outside, Michelle & Simon were still up for some ‘light painting’ fun at the end of the night.
A great day, and we hope the photos do it justice. Michelle & Simon – congratulations once again.
We have just gone through the photos again and the little extras that came with them and both Simon and I are thrilled with what you have both done. Thank you so much to both of you for making us feel so relaxed throughout the day. The service you provided was excellent and made it all feel very personal. You went out of your way to capture all the special moments…. all 653 of them! Thank you once again.
